An Interview with Jimmy Buffett is presented on The Paul Leslie Hour.

Are you here?

Jimmy Buffett was one of the all-time great storytellers. He did that in his many splendid songs, but he could also talk to the audience from the stage like no other. Like so many of you, we felt a great loss with the passing of this great raconteur. The stories he left behind are nothing short of astonishing.

However, there aren’t so many long-form Jimmy Buffett interviews. That said, he did speak in great detail with Clay Eals for his book Steve Goodman: Facing the Music. Clay Eals worked with us in getting that interview to the masses in a fitting way. Thank you Clay Eals for thinking of our show as a home for this precious recording. Visit clayeals.com for more information.

This interview with Jimmy Buffett was recorded October 26, 2000. It’s an honor to bring this to you all. It’s presented in both audio format, and also as an audio with visual-text presentation. We invite you to subscribe to Paul Leslie’s YouTube channel to gain free access to tons of independent media just like this.

Now, there’s nothing left to do, but listen.
