The Leon Mobley Interview is featured on The Paul Leslie Hour.

Are you here? I ask that question because I want to. I have to. You could say from an instinctual standpoint, I need to. You got me?

This interview is from the radio archives and it goes back quite a bit. So just imagine a much younger Paul Edward Leslie with a small sound recorder backstage in Athens, Georgia. He was sitting down with the percussionist and drummer Leon Mobley. He was playing with Ben Harper. It was a huge, sold-out concert of Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals. We think this was probably 2006.

As you’re about to hear this is quite a listening artifact. Leon Mobley is an excellent speaker, full of passion and interesting too. He’s made some great albums on his own and collaborations. This interview in and of itself is just the thing to get you going down a Leon Mobley journey.
