Much respected as a resonator, lap steel and steel guitarist, Cindy Cashdollar is in a class of her own. Her new album is called “Waltz for Abilene” and is a great collection of tunes and features some phenomenal guest artists joining her. The title cut is splendid and was composed by Cashdollar.

Cindy Cashdollar has worked with a great number of artists. She played for 8 years with Asleep at the Wheel, which lead to collaborations with Willie Nelson, Lyle Lovett, Merle Haggard and Dolly Parton. As for recording work, she’s collaborated with Van Morrison, Bob Dylan, Leon Redbone, Livingston Taylor, Artie and Happy Traum to name, but a few.
