THE PAUL LESLIE HOUR INTERVIEWS Episode #342 – Shaun Murphy of Little Feat

Episode #342 – Shaun Murphy of Little Feat

Shaun Murphy was the singer for Little Feat from 1993 to 2009. Recorded circa 2006 or 2007, I was told prior to the concert that I would have a few minutes with her before they took the stage in Athens, Georgia. Shaun Murphy remains one of the most incredible singers I have ever heard. Her energy is incredible and infectious every time I have seen her in concert. In addition to her years with Little Feat she is known for her collaboration with Meat Loaf: Stoney and Meat Loaf. Shaun has worked with everyone from Eric Clapton, Bob Seger and Alice Cooper just to name, but a few. These days she leads her own group: The Shaun Murphy Band. I hope to interview her in greater detail. I regret our time was somewhat rushed. Shaun Murphy was as kind and patient as ever.
