Gordon Lightfoot is one of the most legendary singer-songwriters of all time. A prolific recording artist and concert performer, he has performed around the world. Lightfoot is an inductee of the Songwriters Hall of Fame most known for his songs “Sundown,” “If You Could Read My Mind,” “Early Morning Rain,” “Carefree Highway,” and “The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.” His songs have been recorded by Bob Dylan, Harry Belafonte, Don McLean, Elvis Presley, Barbra Streisand, Judy Collins, Jerry Lee Lewis and many others.

Originally broadcast on FM radio, this interview is being brought back out in the midst of Lightfoot’s North American tour “The Legend Lives On.” Gordon was in rare form! Enjoy!
