Bob McDill wrote some iconic songs: “Amanda,” “Don ’t Close Your Eyes,” “Louisiana Saturday Night,” “Gone Country,” “Good Ole Boys Like Me,” “It Must Be Love,” “Song of the South” and so many others.

And did you hear the news? Bob McDill is joining the Country Music Hall of Fame! Along with Tanya Tucker and Patty Loveless, McDill is in the Hall of Fame Class of 2023.
