Buddy Cannon Returns to The Paul Leslie Hour

The name “Buddy Cannon” is heard in many parts of the music business.

Cannon is a songwriter who has written songs recorded by Willie Nelson, Vern Gosdin, The Oak Ridge Boys, Mel Tillis, Alison Krauss, George Strait, Billy Ray Cyrus, Craig Morgan and Sammy Kershaw. Buddy Cannon was recently inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.

He’s made a name for himself as a record producer. Learning from people like the great Jimmy Bowen, Buddy Cannon has made some great albums. He’s the producer of choice for Willie Nelson and Kenny Chesney.
