THE PAUL LESLIE HOUR INTERVIEWS Episode #519 – Bill Charlap

Episode #519 – Bill Charlap

Bill Charlap is a special guest on The Paul Leslie Hour.

It’s a great pleasure and honor to present this interview with one of the most celebrated jazz pianists of our time, the talented Bill Charlap. A Grammy award-winning artist, his recordings have been released to great critical and fan acclaim.

He’s accompanied some of the greatest jazz artists of all time: Tony Bennett, Phil Woods, Gerry Mulligan, Wynton Marsalis, and many others. Charlap is a relative of past guest Dick Hyman, a very respected pianist and composer.

We talked about many topics, from the Tony Bennett album “The Silver Lining” to the brilliance of Irving Berlin. Bill Charlap is one person I hope returns to The Paul Leslie Hour.
