On this episode of The Paul Leslie Hour, we are honored to be joined by a creative force. J.D. Andrew is a songwriter, a Grammy winning recording engineer, a producer, a guitarist and recording artist. Some of his credits include working with The Rolling Stones, The Pussycat Dolls, the late Guy Clark, Kanye West, Will Kimbrough who was a guest on this show and many more. A very eclectic experience. Along with Bud Thornton, J. D. Andrew founded the rock band The Boxmasters back in 2007. This is a prolific band, especially if you considering modern standards. Along with touring across the country, they’ve recorded a great deal, including the latest album “Speck” produced with the late and legendary record engineer and producer Geoff Emerick noted for his work with the Beatles.
