Rhubarb Jones was a legendary country music radio personality. He held the distinction of being the longest running morning radio personality in Atlanta, having been a fixture at 106.7 FM on the radio dial for more than 23 years. Rhubarb Jones held many honors including being an inaugural inductee of the Georgia Radio Hall of Fame. He was also well known for his charity efforts, raising money and awareness for a variety of causes. He was a man of many interests among them acting. Jones appeared in the television show In the Heat of the Night and motion pictures like Remember the Titans. His last years were involved in Academia. He passed away in April of 2017.

This morning he was on my mind and I listened to this interview with him and was reminded of his incredible personality and perspective. I found that coincidentally tomorrow would have been his 67th birthday. Listen to this interview with Rhubarb Jones and do something nice for someone else today in his memory.
