THE PAUL LESLIE HOUR INTERVIEWS Episode #214 – Roger Guth

Episode #214 – Roger Guth

Good things come to those who wait. That adage could definitely be applied to getting the opportunity to interview the brilliant composer, songwriter and drummer Roger Guth. Well known for drumming with Jimmy Buffett and Peter Mayer for 30 years, Roger Guth is also a solo singer-songwriter and recording artist having released the albums Scotch and Cowboy Ballet. In 2016, he took a different path with his music and composed and recorded Tin Roof, an album of jazz instrumental songs.

Persistence paid off and after many attempts, this interview was recorded at a hotel in Atlanta in the summer of 2016. Thanks is due to Mike Davis and Terry Lederer for endless help. Peter Mayer and Roger Guth were very generous sharing their thoughts and opinions. Roger Guth is up next, right here on The Paul Leslie Hour.
