The Devon Allman Interview is featured on The Paul Leslie Hour.

Are you here? We look at “here” as more than a place or time. It’s a state of mind, and right now “here” goes by the more formal title: The Paul Leslie Hour.

Okay, so we’ve got a very short interview from the archives with a prolific live and recording artist Devon Allman. Some of you are familiar with Devon Allman. He’s created as a solo recording artist, but also with the Allman Betts Band and the Royal Southern Brotherhood This interview was originally broadcast on the radio in 2007.

At that time, Devon Allman was the front man for the band Honeytribe. They had just released their debut album “Torch.” This was a band creating art outside of the mainstream music business. Paul enjoyed the album and described Honeytribe being “for those who like what music is all about.” The band’s sound could be described as a premium blend of rock, blues, instrumentals, and even reggae.

As for Devon…you could say Devon Allman has music in his blood. His father, the late, legendary Gregg Allman once called him “a chip off of the old block.” But we think Devon Allman’s style is distinctly his own. You’ll enjoy Devon Allman’s perspectives on the music business, and the message he is trying to send to all who listen.

We’ve got even more interviews just like this. You can help make this show possible. Just go right here, and we thank you.

And now, let’s hear what Devon had to say when he called in to chat with Paul for a bit. Do you agree?
